BRES and NUCLEAR POWER SCHOOL GRADUATES


Navy personnel who have nuclear engineering post-graduate training through the Navy's BRES and Nuclear Power School may earn credit hours toward their Nuclear Engineering Master of Science Degree.  This enables you to use your Navy experience to gain accredited university credit.
Navy personnel who have applied for their degree through Kansas State University.
  1. BRES graduates may transfer up to 12 hours of credit toward their K-State degree.  Transferable BRES Courses - 604 Heat Transfer and Fluid Flow, 617 Radiological Fundamentals, 634 Reactor Dynamics, math.
  2. Nuclear Power School graduates may receive up to 3 hours transfer credit. Only Power School courses with a grade of B or better will be eligible for evaluation by K-State.
